Eric Termansen founded Western Retail Advisors in 2000 after an extensive career in corporate real estate. He has since completed transactions throughout the western United States valued at more than $2.5 billion for WRA clients, including Target, Harkins Theatres, The Sports Authority, and PetSmart. In addition, Eric has managed distribution center strategies, consulted on strategic acquisitions and completed over $180 million in sale leaseback transactions.

Eric‘s experience spans nearly two decades in retail brokerage services, corporate real estate and retail development. Eric and his wife, Lauri, are actively involved in the community supporting the arts and numerous charitable organizations including United Way, American Heart Association, and The Foundation for Blind Children.

Chris Stamets joined Western Retail Advisors in 2004 and specializes in tenant representation of national retailers, including The Sports Authority, First Bank, Berean Christian Stores, and TGI Friday’s. He has worked in commercial real estate for more than 21 years as both a retail broker and as corporate Director of Real Estate for CompUSA.

Chris opened the Phoenix office for Staubach Retail Services and received the company’s prestigious MVP award. Chris previously served as Director of Real Estate for CompUSA for the Western United States where he developed market strategies, negotiated transactions, oversaw the construction of new stores/remodels and coordinated disposition of surplus real estate. Chris started his brokerage career in Phoenix with Grubb and Ellis where he was twice named top retail producer.

Chris is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Phoenix Thunderbirds. He lives with his wife, Deborah and their three children in Scottsdale. Chris was born in Lawrence, Kansas and is a graduate of The University of Kansas with a degree in Business.

Miles joined Western Retail Advisors in 2008. He has more than 15 years of experience in retail tenant and landlord representation as well as retail and office leasing, development and asset management. Miles is a licensed broker in Arizona and New Mexico. Some of his current clients include Target, The Sports Authority, Whole Foods Market, Jo-Ann Stores, The Vitamin Shoppe, American Apparel, DDR and Vestar Development Co.

Prior to joining Western Retail Advisors, Miles was a partner in and the director of leasing for Columbus Capital in Santa Fe, where he oversaw all aspects of the leasing and administration for the company’s projects. Prior to that, Miles was a Vice President and Regional Director of Leasing for Weingarten Realty Investors, overseeing the leasing and asset management of more than 60 shopping centers containing over 8.5 million square feet of space located throughout Arizona, Nevada, California, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, and west Texas.

Miles’ transaction history includes completed deals with numerous national retailers including Whole Foods Market, Borders, PetSmart, Petco, Staples, Walgreens, Ross Dress For Less, Bed Bath & Beyond, Dollar Tree, 99 Cents Only, Wells Fargo, Wendy’s, Burger King, and Starbucks.

Carla Alvear joined Western Retail Advisors in 2008. She is currently working closely with Ryan Sullivan and Jeff Nichols to manage the Irvine, California office.

Carla has more than ten years of experience working in commercial real estate brokerage. She began as an Administrative Assistant to the President and then moved on to manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of her former employer’s office in Long Beach.

Carla’s primary responsibilities included overseeing all office procedures, staff, marketing and the IT needs of the company. She worked closely with the brokers and administrative staff to help ensure that all aspects of the business ran smooth.
